The media has you right where they want you.

It's a matter of measure again. I never said CO2 concentration played no part of climate conditions, only that when you look at the planetary picture with a more comprehensive view you see the sun and the planet's own resistance to radiation (magnetosphere) are by far the largest part of that equation. The energy that hits the earth's atmosphere (which is funnelled in by the magnetosphere and which also tears holes in the ozone layer at the poles) is the primary climate integral.

But it is never treated as such. Solar input is treated almost like a constant and all changes in temperature, storm creation, etcetera are blamed on the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere. You could strip ALL the CO2 out of the atmosphere (and do the planet a grave disservice btw) and the solar variation and magnetosphere will still be tearing huge holes in the thinned ozone layer and creating storms and hurricanes, creating deserts and ice ages with the same frequency as it does with CO2. At the same time you would probably increase incidence of skin cancer all over the world.

That's the big picture. Your statements that the magnetosphere movements make no changes on local climate conditions illustrate how fervently you (and the media) have deluded yourself as to how the planet actually heats up.

Look at the magnetosphere illustration again, look at how the radiation pours in along the lines of force of the magnetosphere and try to envision what is actually happening. The Earth is like a plate in a microwave with a carousel. And as the carouself shifts - DIFFERENT parts of the plate receive more microwave energy and others less. On Earth, magnetosphere movements shift the strength and focal points of solar radiation around.

As a matter of fact, the melting of the icebergs is a TYPICAL, NORMAL reaction to shifting of this "radiation central". As the geomagnetic point moves north closer to what we identify as the true north pole, the poles of our planet receive MORE radiation! This melts more icebergs, raises tides and does EVERYTHING that has been blamed on CO2.

Save your denials for the uneducated, fear-mongerers who are clueless as to how planetary heating occurs, and those who have latent guilt complexes that need assuaging by becoming "environmentalists".

The reason folks don't understand this is because the media and industry that surrounds "climate change" doesn't mention it. And unless you are educated in these things you will react to the news reports and UN press releases with fear and horror - as they want you to react. Even fairly educated folks can miss the nuances of magnetosphere movement as the primary driver of ozone hole creation, melting icebergs, and local polar heating.

That's why I'm discussing it - because you'll NEVER read about it in the media or in a "computer model" of global warming - which is so obviously caused by manmade CO2! LOL!

;-)

PS
This post should be required reading for all "environmentalists" who are trained to go into hysterics when they see a photo of a melting polar ice shelf - but it wouldn't make too much a dent in those who prefer dogma to understanding. The culture of fear is too powerful now.
