Why you slippery devil, you. Now you're accusing me of denying the existence of the solar wind and the magnetosphere. Not only did I never say that, that's not even what we were talking about. What we're talking about is whether the solar wind and magnetosphere have anything to do with the weather.
As for not being able to solve a problem mathematically when you have no hard numbers, I was hoping you could provide some. You spoke with such confidence and authority about your magnetic miasmas I thought you'd come up with some figures we could plug into the equations and draw some conclusions with, or at least set some numerical constraints to the problem. Just how much heat can we actually get out of those
coronal diffusions, Johnny? Instead I get pretty pictures and some of the most magnificent double-talk, sophistry and hand-waving ever to spew out of the vortex.
You know, the funny thing is that it's not inconceivable that perhaps you might be right. Maybe variations in the magnetosphere DO have some effect on climate; after all, we all know it is a very complex system
and extremely sensitive, and very poorly understood. But no one is likely to believe you if you tell them now. This is a science board, did you think you could get away with that gargonzola?
