Let's get it straight, regarding the magnetosphere and solar input -I didn't invent this stuff - making it my idea is a cheap debate tactic of trying to win over the SDAI-contrarians who say can't help but say no when I say yes, and as a result aiding in keeping folks willfully ignorant just to spite evil ol' SDAI. My musings regarded sol-earth field interactions and rotation. This stuff here is common knowledge.
Here's a some links to get folks here up to speed on the science:
Coronal Mass Ejections may Increase Ozone Hole
NASA on the Magentic Field
SOURCE: NASA
The positively charged ions are drawn, in greater quantity, to the SOUTH pole where they create the largest ozone hole by breaking up, on impact, O3 to create O2 & O. When the poles switch they go through a funky period illustrated wherein all sorts of spots on the planet will receive an unusually high dose of solar wind.
The above article also describes the 10% weakening of our magnetic field. A weaker magnetic field means less deflection of the solar wind, which means more incoming radiation, a bigger ozone hole cycle and subsequently in these regions more heat, melting icebergs and thawing ice shelfs in Antarctica.
After the ozone hole is formed the newly created O2 merges with O again and ozone is created all over again - it recycles the O2 & O via other sun emissions in the UV spectra. In fact the bigger the ozone hole the faster it repairs itself as it exposes O and O2 to greater quantities of UV.
More Magnetosphere stuff
And this next one is great! Look at the disparity in answers about ozone layer to a 12 year old Elizabeth from various govt. agencies:
Dear Mr. Scientist,
I was wondering if you could answer this question for my classmates,
teachers and me. We were all wondering if you knew if the ozone layer
grows back or comes back at all. We got on the subject in health and
we would love an answer!
Yes Elizabeth there is a Santa Claus who repairs the ozone...and keeps good little girls and boys safe from harmful uv...but only if you swear to never use freon in your automobile or refrigerator when you grow up. And if you promise to never buy a car, he will also save you from dreaded sticker shock.

Happy reading!
PS you can't use math to solve a problem when you have no hard numbers at all. We're still at the understanding and observation level - and unfortunately, for many, the hysteria level. The measurement level is decades and billions of dollars away.
