Some American's, like me, don't own a single gun. And I am a Native Texan (We are all supposed to be gun nuts, you know).

I am not a hunter. I have thought about getting one for home protection. I wouldnâ€™t think twice about shooting someone trying to harm my wife or kids. But I would never forgive myself if a gun I owned killed one of my kids, or an innocent person.

I have two rather large, and very protecting, dogs instead.

Iâ€™ll probably never own a gun.
