The fact that there are so many of these quivering heads of corporations appearing before Congress is a testament to the fact that corporations have too much power and have repeatedly abused it. They brought down our economy, or haven't you been reading the news? Your zealotry at the expense of reality amazes me.

One wonders what planet you've been living on. The giant corporation can put out a hit on you and may never answer for it. They've done it in the past. (Look up Karen Silkwood for one.) If there's one or two or ten, you can damn well bet there have been hundreds.

When we start treating corporations like living breathing entities, we're in trouble. That's what the Supremes just did. We ARE in trouble. Pretty soon, if you happen to have a skill that a corporation needs, you'll have to go to court to get a "divorce" from them. And before you get too snippity over that, you'd better damn well think about it. It's not that far off.
