There's a difference between "tearing down" things that work, and "dismantling" things that are doing nothing useful at best, or serious damage at worst.
Just to pick something at random, the Department of Education:
As I have repeatedly pointed out, we managed to put men on the Moon and build the greatest technological civilization on the planet without a Federal Department of Education. We are spending twice the amount per student in constant dollars now as we were in 1980, when the DOE started, and with measurably worse results. Apparently the current primary function of our education bureaucracy is the care and feeding of the education bureaucracy, including the unions that funnel millions in education tax funds to one specific political party.
A lot of people (not you) focus mostly on the "vilification" issue because it allows them to avoid uncomfortable realities.
I'll leave it to you to think about how well the Federal Reserve is doing.
