The Waters of Discourse
"Discourse" should be a process of arriving at answers, not a mechanism for blowing smoke.
It is long past time that people take positions on critical issues. Fogmeisters aside, there are right answers and wrong ones. Even if you ignore philosophy and reason and assume a simple "black box" analysis dealing only with input and output, the evidence of history alone should point us in certain directions.
If this be "disruption," make the most of it.
