Me, I want neither governments nor corporations to have the upper hand. Both are capable of great harm if allowed to act without check and balance. To employ an Objectivist point of view, one must recognize that both may remove one's rights as an individual. (We can talk religion later) Does it matter which has done it more when they come for your freedom, or take what is not theirs? If I recall correctly, Gault's lab was not raided by the gov, it was raided by the company he worked for.
When they are in league, or one controls the other, the individual gets screwed, always. You would put the rights of the corporation on par with the rights of the individual? Of all your propositions, this is the most surprising.
And disturbing.
