We should just back off and let the nation restructure, while at the same time keeping the pressure on Syria. This will lead to an alliance with the new Iraq, and an overall sense of trust in the Middle East as a whole. The issue was never Iraq. The issue was always Iraq's leader.

The evidence supporting Hussein's WMD use and intent of proliferation is already well documented. History will have sort the detailed facts from the believed truths. It's not easy, because it's a job half done, but thankfully the dirty half was handled first.
It's time for a moment of peace for the region -- and a serious look at Syria.

It is also time to take Israel and Palestine to the mat. It will be a dirty, largely thankless undertaking, but one we must face, and soon.
