Sigh...yes, I see. I deleted the offending word from the table of contents, but left it in the posts (I think--actually I didn't bother reading the posts to see if it recurs). Splitting the difference lets me discharge my duty to clean the commons while giving maximum leeway for freedom of expression.

I have to admit that I saw it yesterday, but waited until somebody complained. One of the "interesting" side effects of the Republican attempt to use Monica to smear Clinton was that suddenly the word "blowjob" became (relatively more) acceptable in mainstream use. Late night comedians and Bill Maher on Politically Incorrect gleefully seized on the precedent Starr set by publishing the smutty Monica papers, presumably on the theory that what Starr put into the public record was legitimate news and fodder for legitimate political parody. It was ironic that the Right then blamed Clinton for that, too.
