I guess I wasn't the only one that thought you ere a professor or an ex-professor.

Here's where I got my notion:

Please, Come to Carnegie Mellon and take one of *my* classes and TRY to cheat. I'll put more shreds in your academic career than there are functions on the reals. I dare you.

Look, if you copy something verbatim and DON'T provide a source, mesh it into your own words IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH and DON'T even use quotes, then you are taking credit for work someone else has done, and trying to claim that the fruits of anothers mind are your own. Thats wrong. Thats free-loading. I would run you out of a university for doing it in a course and I won't tolerate it in debate. I will take a stand for intellectual integrity and lambast ANYONE who tries to pull that.

Okay, you now have my complete respect if that matters to you, and an earned apology for going hyperbolic on you and maybe jumping to conclusions too fast. Chalk it up to my experience teaching. I love it (even though I am largely out of the biz), but there is nothing in this world that irkes/irked me more than catching otherwise bright kids being dishonst. This is my bias, and not yours, and I will own up to that.

some of its a little blurry, but these are three examples where you have allured to being a college professor. Care to set the record straight?
