So we shouldn’t try? Sorry, but I don’t believe that.

What happened to that JFK spirit, “We do this not because it is easy, but because it is hard.”

We are TRYING to make a better world. You can’t do anything unless we try. Maybe you have to be an optimist to try something hard- something that takes vision and determination to achieve. A pessimist outlook that it will not work will never accomplish anything.

The human race is evolving. We are not the same race we were a generation ago. Things change. The Middle East is changing. There will be a new generation there.

The reason the human race has advanced, both in technology and sociologically is because we tried new things. We evolved.

We tried ignoring the terrorist the Middle East environment breeds, but it didn’t work. It didn’t work. They got our attention know. We will not ignore them again.

The Bush/Blair plan is a great idea. Give the Middle East people freedom and democracy, and they will have something worth loosing. They will hang onto it, cherish it, and no long have a reason to be terrorist.
