The ability to acknowledge you "could be wrong". You don't admit you're wrong, though. I'm thinking you give yourself a bit too much credit here.

Even when I "caught" you a couple of days ago, the most you could 'fess up to was "I see your point." Ed had questioned my sobriety, and got a pass. I questioned his, based upon his past comments, and you called me on it, as being unfair to mention his drinking. When I pointed this out, your response was "I see your point", not, "I made a mistake".

You called the people who gloat over GWBs mistakes "mean-spirited".

When I pointed out that your saying you were going to gloat when Bush won the election was mean-spirited, you said that you weren't mean-spirited. By definition, I suppose. That series of posts is still around here somewhere.

When I called you on saying that the Afghans get used to being killed, and don't mind it so much if given a few goodies, you denied that was what you said.

Frankly, (no pun intended), I think the liberals can admit it, I have I know. More'n once. I didn't like doing it, and I was. And I don't see you guys as being all that good at it.

I think you (collective, not just FrankC) seriously believe you never are. Just "could" be.

Nothing personal on this, FrankC, I just didn't think you deserved a pass on it.
