Sorry, didn't mean to sound so negative
I hope anyone doesn’t think I am going through all those hardships now. I am still blind in one eye, but I have been that way for 25 years. It is part of my life now. My wife still suffers from Lupus, but we try to enjoy life and take it day by day. She could still live for 10 or 20 more years. I am also dealing with my mother having Alzheimer's, but there is nothing I can do about it except comfort her.
I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a new job, my kids are healthy, I am out of debit (took me about 6 years to pay off that 70K, but I did it). Life is okay.
