Thanks j~s for that link. Gives a totally different perspective. There is much to be said about natural medicines and nutraceuticals. I appreciate the thought. Perhaps Dr. Clark falls into the category of a "quack", will do more research before I follow any of her cleanses.
As for you REB, I realize how serious lupus is and it sounds like it takes a creative balance to live with it. It's almost impossible to be stress free in this day and age, and finances can be a good instigator of that stress. I still don't know if you could call your 15 yr. old mother giving you up as a mistake. I had a girlfriend years ago who had to give up a child at age 15 or 16. It was the right decision at the time. And although she got married and produced two great kids, she always was burdened of the thought of the one she left behind. And yes, life is to be appreciated. I have gone through a metamorphisis lately where almost every day becomes pure joy and I find myself estatic to be alive in these VERY interesting times (an old Chinese curse?)
