That's a pretty heavy concept and I disagree with it. If your mother had aborted you early, you wouldn't be here, so you wouldn't know anything because you didn't "exist". However, there are schools of thought that say a "soul" swims about the body of the mother before birth, and decides to enter. That the soul ONLY joins the body when it's fully formed. I had problems with an IUD when I was a young and married and I lost a fetus. To me, it was only a fetus with no soul, although my loss was devasting at the time. I was able later to get pregnant again and had my daughter. I often wonder if she was destined to be mine, because if she was, she "joined" me.
As for your "idea" that all pregnant women should carry their "babies" to TERM, and then give them away in the hopes they find a loving caring couple (or end up unwanted an abused in a series of foster homes), then I say YOU should try carrying a baby to term, and have it disrupt your life, your health, and see how that feels!
Most 15 yr. olds would be horrified at the thought. They'd much rather finish school and get a job and save themselves from embarrassment and shame.
Men! To me, your view is skewed.....and selfish.
But we obviously hold differeing views. It's a women's right to chose.
