Amen to that - very well said! The many and varied choices available today for birth control, before and after the fact, leave absollutely no excuses whatsoever any more for the murder of innocents. (The issue of rape or illness of the mother, etc. is a separate valid issue.) I have never believed that for women to "have control" over their bodies they have to kill their babies. There are better more worthy kinds of control, of which self-control is one.

On a related matter, it used to be said that we "had" to give our children condoms in school because they would never willingly exercise abstinence. Yet today that is exactly what they are doing, and old-fashioned abstinence is "cool" now with the young adults as well. The pendulum is starting to swing back again.
