I saw your point

As I commented elsewhere Ed has gotten plenty of criticism from liberals and conservatives for his caustic responses. He has frequently acknowledged his errors and frequently promised to do better.

I consider him incorrigible when it comes to civility.

In your case, I have enjoyed having you back and I have hope that the enjoyment will continue. I would/might caution anyone to take a mint once. I wouldn't do so over and over or to someone I know to have chronic halitosis.

As to the reference to the famous (in your mind) goodies remark. I never denied I said it. I denied the context in which you took it. I referred to compensation as goodies. Perhaps that is too cavalier for you but it does not change what I meant.

You will note that on CE I used poop instead of shit in consideration of your sensibilities.

So, you see I am still not wrong in the instances you point out. I have been wrong but it is annoyingly infrequent and downright frustrating according to Alice.

I was wrong about Nixon and I am usually wrong if it involves money and a game of chance.
