If Lee had said about blacks what Gary said about gays, you would have pummeled him on flame for it. For me, the jury is out whether Gary really meant what he seemed to say. Mary Anne only pointed it out.
If you can find any instances of Democrats truly portraying the Bush victory "as a consequence of gay-hating Republicans", then please show me. PS: bizarro internet sites do not count (you can find anything out there).
