I didn't have nearly enough to drink, but I was working. ;p

Guess I'll have to catch up on Sunday. (Working tomorrow too: Saturday is a heavy homework help day.)

I think it's "sake". Saki is the short story writer, H.H. Munro. You remember "The Monkey's Paw", I bet. It was probably part of every high school curriculum in the US. I remember another of his short stories, "The Interlopers". When I saw that "wolves converging" anti-Kerry commercial, I thought of it. Two enemies finally bring to an end a generations-long feud while trapped in the forest, and just as they are hoping for rescue, they hear the interlopers baying in the near distance...

Everything reminds me these days. It's the weird thing: a little voice over my shoulder.

Well. Happy birthday anyway, and many many happy returns of the day. May you be buried in a coffin made with planks from a hundred-year-old oak tree, which I will plant tomorrow. :)
