We're selecting the Supreme Court.

It's already leaning right. All the conservatives who hollered about an activist court when it leaned left don't seem to be bothered by a right-wing activist court.

We're going to be looking at maybe 20 years of erosion of individual rights in favor of corporate "individuals"' rights and in favor of government enforcement agencies, whose power has already been vastly expanded by the Patriot Acts.

Also, this man has already done a lot of damage. The only saving grace I can see in foreign policy is that Iraq will be such a mess for so long that it will be impossible to invade another country for its own good and in the name of Jesus for a while because we don't have enough troops. We could just bomb them, though.
