As Ripley said in Aliens, "Look, I can see where this is going". Those of us like Tom who regularly visit blogs just hang on the every word of what "authoritative" and "reputable" Dan Rather called "a guy sitting in his living room in his pyjamas writing" and don't do any critical or independent thinking or visit any information or news sources, right? They tell us what to think and when to think it, we, drones of the BlogBorg. The fact that blogs provide all kinds of varied analyses and viewpoints and link prolifically to hundreds of mainstream and alternative news and information channels, often including original sources that make the news in the first place to ascertain, examine and contemplate yourself, is lost on you. It's painfully obvious some people still think of blogs as they were circa 1995, before the term was even invented, amounting to little more than an online personal diary or a therapeutic venting outlet. WTFE.
