What six years and no solution to generations of increasing middle eastern Islamofascism, millennia of religious intolerance, centuries of illiteracy and 3rd world violence?
How can this be?
Why this should've been wrapped up in six months! Perhaps 3!
Post 9-11 reality:
Some solutions involve longterm engagement.
....."......."...... involve a regular loss of lives.
....."......."...... do not offer immediate gratification.
....."......."...... are alternatives to a future all out world war III.
Bush just happened to be on watch when the reality sunk in. It could've as easily happened on Clinton's watch if the WTC bombers had been more succesful. As it was, it was only a partial awakening.
One can try to minimize each Islamofascist terror incidence as some sort of policing affair, but that is like treating leprosy as a series of small wounds to be addressed individually. One has to address the cause and have a solution for treating the disease in its totality.
Oh, and I didn't post the agit-prop video clip starting this thread - Lindy did.
