The economy and the job market is a problem of demographics. It's certainly not the rights or the lefts fault, but the nature of supply and demand.

SUPPLY of WORKERS vs. DEMAND of WORK

In America, we have FLOODED the SUPPLY side with cheap labor. Illegals, descendants of illegals and exported work.

The illegal problem is especially important to the equation because of the exponential nature of these demographics. The average US family of 1960 has added around 14 new workers to the workforce.

The demographics are damning the US economy.

Every SINGLE, border crosser since 1960 has represented devastation to our jobs market.

As a result supply exceeds demand and wages go down. The two parent workforce became a mandatory thing - thanks to simple demographics.

Most folks simply don't think the numbers out and so are shocked when they realize what is a very simple equation.

Eye-opening though, isn't it?

Your job, all sales job, all service economy jobs, even white collar jobs are all PAYING FAR LESS than 1960. Wages are NOWHERE NEAR keeping up with the cost of living increases. Wages by my estimate are still stuck in 1980, while cost of living has added 27 years.

The only political thing about the economy is that BOTH parties have turned a bling eye to the problem and both DONT CARE that it is ruining the 'American way of life' (aka the middle class family dream of 1960).

Don't blame it on the right, I blame it on both parties and await someone who can do the math to wake up.

As bad as it was from 1960-1980 - 1980-2000 was far worse and in the next ten years 2000-2010 we have seen about the same damage done as the past 30 years. Why? ITS EXPONENTIAL!

Why does America now wait HOURS and HOURS in an emergency room?

Illegals.

Soon the economy will degrade even faster. Just as our healthcare system is degrading. It will happen in five year cycles. If we don't pass STRICT legislation and limit citizenship to border runners kids, the USA, as we knew it, is toast LONG before 2050.

Why do you think the first words out of the Pope as he visits Brazil are to condemn abortion? The Catholic Church knows the power of demographics. To them it means big bucks, to the US salary it means minimum wage will appear like a high salary in five years. That's about the only thing they know.
