re: All this shows....

Hi Raoul.

I agree that; as far as humans or the planet Earth or even the milky way galaxy is concerned, they are very “insignificant” part of the whole universe.
In other words; the milky way galaxy could disappear from the universe and the remaining galaxies would hardly be affected in any way.
But that is a very materialistic view point.
What about spirituality, are we simply robots that have been programmed to have emotions, if that is the case then who did the programming and why.

Lets for a moment consider a hypothetical scenario:

Somewhere in this galaxy there was a race of humanoids that had developed their understanding of the universe to such a degree that they were able to construct spacecraft that were capable of travelling at almost the speed of light.

Suppose that they were curious about life elsewhere in the universe, since time dilates at such high speeds, they figure that they can visit several planetary systems within their lifetime to see if there are any intelligent creatures in those systems.
They gather some astronauts of various disciplines and put them on an exploratory mission to other planetary systems, they find a planet that has some creatures that have enough intelligence to be able to communicate through a form of written language.

They first conduct the intelligence gathering phase and then plan the trip home, but some want to stay and teach these primitives their own understand of the universe and its laws, but some of them simply want to stay and benefit from the fear factor that they can cause in the locals.

The local scribes then try to keep a record of the events, everyone stays for quite some time to gather supplies and evidence of their trip, but they notice that their presence has created confusion and misunderstanding of their purpose.

The ones that are going home try to correct the situation by leaving ten commandments with strict warnings as to what will happen if those commandments are not obeyed and a promise to come back someday to reward the ones that obey the rules.

That is one idea of where so many “gods” came from.

About the science in the Bible:

It is generally accepted that Einstein’s formula of E= MC^2 is correct.
The formula that I derived by using the Bible as a guide gives the same answers as the Einstein’s formula.
Is that a coincidence or was the writing done by someone that understood humanity better than we understand ourselves?
