re: Ugh
Where is the contrary evidence?
Extraordinary claims, and all that...the burden of proof is on you, and you have none. Superstition is what you have. People are expected to swallow it without question and without proof.
Without contrary evidence the statement can not be considered “superstition.â€
As a matter of fact, without contrary evidence the statement is as valid as any explanation that science has come up with concerning the existence of the universe.
Where did space, mass and energy come from?
<Do you understand Einstein’s formula of E=MC^2 ?
Yes. Studied Relativity in first and third year Physics at the University of Calgary. Wasn't my major (math was, at the time) but I sure enjoyed it. Physics, from my perspective, is one of the greatest of human endeavors...it's about viewing things with truly open eyes, about following evidence to possible and rational conclusions, not drawing a conclusion first and then setting off to manufacture supporting evidence.
I agree that physics is one of the greatest of human endeavours, there are many others.
Hmm,, “drawing a conclusion†is that not exactly what you are doing by dismissing information that I present here, simply because some of that information comes from the Bible?
What I am presenting here is not a casual assumption, it is a result of research.
The way we present concepts is through the use of words or mathematical formulas.
To express the concept presented in Einstein’s formula we can use words instead of mathematical symbols.
Thousands of years ago they did not have mathematical symbols such as we have today, but they did have concepts, they had to use words to convey those concepts.
The Bible uses the words, heaven, earth, light, and firmament, to convey the concepts behind the structure of the universe.
Today we use words such as space, mass, energy, and constant to explain the same concepts.
To explain today’s concepts, Einstein derived the formula: E=MC^2.
To explain the concepts in the Bible, I derived the formula: E=(U/K)C.
Mathematically both formulas give the same results.
It has been a pleasure debating with you. Thank You
PS: why are you so adamantly opposed to anything in the Bible.
