I have a simular view on the subject.

I believe God created the Universe and the Laws that govern it, and I believe he did it in a fashion that our scientist are discovering. And, like you, I donâ€™t believe that Genesis contradicts this, but in fact, supports it. I also believe God made us, and other intelligent life across the universe, through evolution.

You and I are in a tough spot. The Fundamentalist will crucify us and the scientist will scoff at us for believing this. But I think more and more people are seeing this.

I see God as a being of science. After all, he created the matter and the scientific laws that govern our universe. Scientist do not create these laws, they just discover them. And when you see how orderly the periodic table is, it is not because the scientist made it that way, it is because that is the way matter behaves.

When you see that God created this vast universe, you start to look beyond it. For if you accept that God created this universe, you must accept he existed before it was made and outside of it- in another place. So then you start to wonder what is beyond our Universe realm.

What is your thought on the archangels, like Michael? I believe they were around before God made our universe. I wonder what their history is.

Who knows what lies beyond our universe.
