re: Mass mess ??

For some reason the explanation about “mass” did not come out correctly when I inserted it to the site. (divine intervention perhaps?) No one seems to have noticed it anyway so I guess that it does not really matter.

But then on the other hand, there might be some readers that actually want to know the answer but were afraid to ask.

For such people: you should insert the following explanation of mass to the above post.

<><><>
Mass = “something” that is part of everything. (According to Einstein, energy is intrinsic to mass. In other words “motion” is part and parcel of every bit of mass, no matter how small that “particle” of mass may be.)
If we were able to examine that elusive and smallest fundamental part of mass, be that part, the electron or even part of such a structure, it would still be constructed out of “something that moves by and within it self.”

Moving mass is associated with a force, that force becomes known only when the moving mass meets resistance to its motion.
Everything in the universe seems to have a beginning, so the question we could ask is: Where did space, mass and energy come from?

Science does not seem to have definitive answer to that question, all it can do is speculate that the universe may have always been this way and there was no beginning, or it is constantly being renewed by some means, or it popped into existence by some unknown reason from some unknown place.

We know that there is space, mass and energy in the universe, but what do these words actually mean, in other words, what is mass and how is it integrated with energy.

According to Einstein, the total amount of (intrinsic) energy that a quantity of mass has can be calculated with the formula E=MC^2
Where E = Energy, M = Mass, C = Constant = the propagation of light in the vacuum of space, The superscript number 2 indicates that the quantity represented by “C” is to be multiplied by itself.
If we take the square of the speed of light and multiply it by the quantity of mass we will get the amount of energy contained in the said quantity of mass.

The Bible comes up with the same answer but uses different words to explain it.

(From King James Version.)

>“GENESIS 1:1. In the beginning God created the heaven and earth.

1:2. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness >was< upon the face of the deep.”
