But, when you come accross a web site that line after line preaches mostly things like this:

"You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land." Judges 2:2

"...do not be conformed to this world...." Romans 12:2

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world." 1 John 2:15-17

It will turn people, most Christians, law abiding citizens that have an incling to science off.

I'm a Christian raised as Catholic, went to Catholic schools and college. They taught physics and astronomy. Good grief even the Vatican has its own observatory.

Freewill is right as REB cited below... be it in politics, religion....

I do appreciate what you wrote up there, Daniel and I thank you. You've given me new insight on Deuteronomy.

I don't know why Raoul brought this up on Flame ... a bad encounter???
