I have tried to read it from cover to cover, but I can't seem to do it.

REB — 6/15/2007 1:22:25 PM (archived)

The Old Testament is hard for me to read. We must remember it comes from word of mouth stories passed down from generations before it was written down. Add to that it has been translated from ancient languages.

The New Testament is a much easier read. It was written not long after the events it talks about, and its translations are much smoother than the OT.

I still have not read the whole thing.
