I'm with you Art. I won't date anyone who smokes, and not only because I can't stand cigarette smoke, but you're right......it ruins the taste of a kiss. Smokers probably don't even notice.

Two of my closest girlfriends smoke. I've known them for decades. They go back and forth quitting for a couple of years, going back for many more. I love them both, they are strong and creative women. I've certainly talked to them about it because I care, but like any bad habit.......if an individual choses it and sticks with it past a certain age; obviously it's their choice. One even had breast cancer, and she's back at it.

I met with an old boyfriend after many years who still expressed interest in me who was a smoker. When I told him I didn't kiss smokers, he promptly quit. It's been quite a few years now and he's still smoke free. His health has returned and he looks great. I still won't kiss him though.
(Other problem is his wife..........LOL)
