I'd vote for Cheney in 08 if he chose to run.

He' probably twice as smart as any of the Democrats so far proffered to the public as Presidential candidates.

But folks don't trust a guy that smart in politics. He smart enough to know how to get things to go his way and that infuriates lots of politician/media types.

There will come a day when folks realize Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice we're looking out for USA's best interests. Meanwhile the mouth-foamers and their herds of sheep will bleat up a storm of protest.
