Dennis Miller (and I now despise the man) would kick Gore's ass just because he could use his caustic humor and fast wit to keep Gore so off balance he'd never recover. Over the long haul though the new Miller would come off as tiresome and just plain mean. How that would play with our current citizenry would be an unknown.
I agree with William F. Buckley but let's remember that I've seen him argue for legalization of all drugs before so he's not exactly a hard right-winger.
Pat Buchanan could wipe the floor with Gore as well on many topics. I'm not so sure he's not fallen in more with the Libertarian camp though.
Ron Paul would also hold his own with Gore but he also falls more into the Libertarian side.
Now the conservative that I'd love to see Gore debate would be Joe Lieberman.
