When and if the government provides "free" healthcare for all, then there will be millions who will retire from the workforce.

A lot of people who could retire, continue working just for the health insurance.

What will happen when millions suddenly leave the workforce? The answer is Payroll Taxes inflows to the Government will decline precipitously in the near term. Then in the longer run, Tax revenues will begin to climb again as Wage inflation takes a grip on the economy.
