Oh, come on!
Many other nations who have ostensible "state" health care have not been stupid enough to do this, but our local breed of socialist is pretty damn stupid.
There was nothing in that sentence that even implied anyone on this board, never mind you.
As far as I know, not one person on this board who thinks we need a national health insurance program has proposed making private insurance illegal in the bargain, and in fact, this is true of quite a few advocates elsewhere.
I just am not sure this tolerance of keeping the private options available is widespread enough not to worry about.
