Someday look at the Federal budget--it's online--and look, really LOOK, at where tax money comes from in this country, and where it actually goes.

Heck, I'll save you some trouble. Check this paper out. Pay particular attention to Figures 1 and 4.

For the record, the combined income of the top 500 CEOs in America was $5.4 billion (counting stock gains), which, if taxed at 100 percent, would run this government for about two-thirds of one day.
