And I have to say, I think it's one of the most powerful movies I've seen in years, if not my life.
I don't want to ruin it for you, but Michael Moore "gets" it. And he takes you down every possible resistance you may have to this "problem" of ours, because it cuts past race or culture, the haves and have nots and brings it back home right here where it belongs.
I am certainly more biased to these problems as someone who was injured at work and refused treatment by the insurance company. I have had to use a lawyer twice to get treatment, an MRI and physical therapy. And now that I am in a different state, they are skirting their obligations again. So I know how you just become a number, and the more the adjuster denies you, the bigger BONUS they get. (As for the lawyers who deny people their basic RIGHTS to health care from insurance companies, I hope this movie gives them nightmares and rips from them the sense of security they ripped from everyone else. For a BONUS.)
Rich or poor, black or white, insured or uninsured, please go see this movie and WAKE UP AMERICA!
