Other than the hysterical fever dreams of the Left, none of the supposed threats to the Constitution and our freedoms have actually happened.

We've gone over this before. The "suspension of Constitutional rights" is imaginary. Almost every post on this is about what Bush MIGHT do, or what deluded people think he has done only in their own minds. The intelligence issues that supposedly blew liberal minds stopped being issues the second the elections were over. The Democrats on the Intelligence Committee knew damn well it was bullshit while they were screaming about it.

Don't you understand, Robert? I'm fifty-four years old. I've heard this crap for DECADES. I heard all of this "end of our freedom" business from leftists and liberals, almost word for word, back when it was Nixon, Agnew, and all the rest. I was in college then. I heard it every damn day. I heard it through the Reagan years, too.

I'm tired of tinfoil wearers steering the debate.
