Let's face it Robert, you and Art are out of line.
You guys live with your paranoid liberal neuroses about Bush taking over the government and now want to hang Tom up by his thumbs because he doesn't want to play imaginary "What if" for fun.
Yeah, like Tom is going to say "I would support the administration even after they take over on a flimsy excuse and start using the Constitution as toilet paper."
And if Tom said, "I would join you in your underground resistance and fight for liberty!" - you wouldn't believe him anyway.
Some of us, can easily identify the folks that fantasize about being President for Life: Hillary, Obama, McCain, Gore, Edwards, Kennedy all fit the profile of those insecure folks, whose self-worth is proportionate to the power they can exert over others.
It's a development like any other. Like being able to read whether or not someone is lying to you, or whether or not someone likes you.
For that reason we're not worried about Bush. He will leave office and move on. People like Hillary and Gore don't.
You and Art should be far more concerned about the Nazi-esque rantings and fanaticism of someone like Gore who want to reshape the world, and the US to their liking. Or Hillary whose life has been one big obsession about seizing power by hook or by crook.
And to be quite honest, you and Art, to me, fit the profiles of the willing dupes who would allow the constitution to be trampled as long as the rewrite fits your ideal worldview. When the revolution comes -Tom's butt will be glued to the chair in his garage - you two will either be marching, protesting or perhaps rioting in the streets.
You don't have to tell me who is more dangerous to the US status quo...
...I already know the answer.
