With out responsibility, or morals, freedom can turn into chaos.

We can’t have total freedom. This is an extreme example, but say someone said it is their free right to hunt another person like an animal. No they do not have that freedom- not in our society. A line must be drawn in a free society as to what is acceptable and what is not. We must have laws, to exist as a society, and to protect us from those who think they have the freedom to do whatever they want, regardless of who it hurts. Without such laws, and those who enforce it, our society will crash and turn to chaos.

People will push that line. Just look at TV and movies. They push it as far as they can; never thinking just because they have the freedom to do something doesn’t mean they have to do it. I get sick at seeing PG and PG-13 movies catering to a G audiences. I get even sicker when my son’s 9-year-old friends talk to my son about the R rated movie their parents let them watch.

The real problem is that everyone has a different opinion as to where the ‘acceptable’ line should be drawn.

I fear we are becoming a country of irresponsible people- people who fail to be responsible and fail to take responsibility for their actions. People who do not know, or care, about crossing over the basic moral line.
