You hit all the "progressive" views and complaints about futility, government expenditures, etcetera, now let's think about the most important ramifications of legalizing prostitution - the one's always missed out on by those men & women who want cheap sex on demand.
Travel with me in a quick journey to the nations where legalized prostitution exists.
The result is not pretty to look at.
In a nation where we are already drowning in illegal aliens, many of whom have 4 or 5 kids before they reach the age of 21, legalized prostitution is a form of liberal sponsored hari kiri.
National suicide should not be on anyone's legislative agenda. I'm happy to spend billions on curbing prostitution, if necessary, to help keep the birthrate in the positive sector. The internet and pornography on demand has already reduced the birthrate and will continue to do so, legalized prostitution would be the final deathstroke for America.
That's why "prostitution is wrong" and "immoral", it has nothing to do with religious tenets.
If ever prostitution is legalized, we might as well give the 3rd world the key to our cities and nation. In a race to reproduce - the smart folks have a distinct disadvantage over those who do not think about the consequences of their actions.
Ipso facto the dumb & violent, not the meek, inherit the Earth. All courtesy of those "brilliant" progressives. ;-)
