That's how many encounters it takes to get a disease. "Whores", as you so delightfully call a quarter of the nation's girls, spread their legs for anything that moves.
A girl who thinks she's in love and gets a disease from a guy who doesn't want to use protection because it takes away from his pleasure hasn't "gone wild". I can't say that I'm surprised that you believe irresponsible boys have no part in this, and that girls are the sole disease vector rather than disease victims.
I would be interested to see the statistics for the same diseases in boys, though they are less likely to see a doctor for reproductive matters than girls are. If their numbers are lower, it would indicate that the boys are the ones spreading disease by sleeping around.
