Time and time again, countless studies have failed to establish a connection between Pornography and Violence, Pornography and Divorce, Pornography and [_____] (fill in the blank).
This is the holy grail of the 'OldTimeyValues' crowd, and they have chased it for decades, and still they can't decisively make their point and forge a consensus in research that Porn is a destructive force. And don't give me that crap about how academia is a big conspiracy- anti-pornography feminism and sex-negative feminism is very much a factor in the politics of the average academic institution.
You can argue that Porn in immoral or whatnot, thats a different story- but insisting that it causes bad things to happen is as silly as saying masturbation makes you go blind.
The big secret about Porn is that while men typically buy it, a substantial percentage of women (of all ages) view it.
Look, I hate to point this out, but you people on the conservative end of the spectrum have a habit of insisting things are true that ain't so.
