I feel I have failed my daughter. Somewhere along the line, break down of communication occured. Her self-worth is wrapped up in how men perceive her.
There will always be prostitutes. These are good girls, by and large, with a skewed sense of reality...and their place in it.
If we were to legalize prostitution, I am just optimistic and naive enough to think that they would at least get more respect than they get now...and maybe..just MAYBE...a few will see their way out of a life that they feel is only worthwhile because it is pleasing a man.
