Well, I for one don't beg.
I have demanded. I have asked. I have simply said, "This is what I prefer but Thy will be done." Most times I ask for whatever is for the higher good of all concerned. I am not omniscient so I leave that to God. It makes ME feel better having talked to God about things that are going on. It also gets me to thinking about these things in depth and I find that I learn from this process, discover things I hadn't realized.
I guess a lot of atheists think they already know everything. (That was a zinger BTW and not meant maliciously, just poking around on what may be sore spots.)
