Is this the power of prayer at work?

I can tell you, on my journey with cancer I have seen my share of joy and heartaches. I have seen some make it and some not. I do come across stories like these that hint at maybe prayer does work. Why God would help some and not othersâ€¦ I do not know. This is his universe and his rules.

And then there is my own story. I had a lot of people pray for me when I almost died on October 1, 2007. Did their prayer help me? I canâ€™t know for certain. I do know those praying for me are not a bunch of f@cking idiots.

I do know my faith in God helped me get through that difficult time. I can tell you that for my whole life, as long as I kept my faith, things have always turned out for the best for me.

There is something to faith and prayer. And if that makes me a f@cking idiot, then so be it.
