They have their headquarters somewhere in Italy. You may have
heard of them.

It was mainly the literature I read that said this stuff outright, but of
course the employees I met towed the party line.

I see a trend these days, perhaps by Protestant sects, to soften or
even dismiss the concept of Hell in an attempt to convert people while
trying not to scare them off. Maybe after the convert is roped in, then
the religious groups go "On, and by the way..."

I just find it interesting in the Chinese sense that he I am told all my
life growing up that God loves me, but he'll punish the crap out of me
if I don't keep in line even in my own mind, and that if I don't get my
act together by the time I die, that it's off to Hell I go forever. Now I
am getting a different story, at least by the non-Catholic groups.
