probably just a case of information overload (and I'm not really crazy. Remember this is Flame). I've just been going through a period lately where emotions are all over the chart, tempted to feel some hope for mankind when you read that the country is slowly moving away from organized religion and hearing actual thoughtful and intelligent ramblings from the head of your country and then wham, the next day you read something that reminds you just how many idiots there still are around you. This website was just a tiny piece of that idiot puzzle. All by itself it's not that alarming but in combination with all the absolutely moronic people I meet and overhear, drivers I have to avoid in my daily commute, the fact that the only news radio station left in Phoenix is a Clear Channel Republican stronghold, and the fact that I live in one of the reddest areas of a mostly conservative state, it's pretty intimidating.

The contrasts between the enlightened and the brain dead are just so striking that it sometimes makes you want to scream. Cue Flame.

A good example of Arizona's dichotomy. Today Barack Obama comes to ASU to deliver the commencement speech and at the same time downtown Phoenix is hosting the NRA convention. If that isn't enough to make you schizophrenic nothing is.
