Small business and entrepauneurs are the primary source of advancement and economic growth. This is why I have no issues with Bill Gates type wealth. I have a problem with huge payouts for caretakers applying basic business school practices making off with increasingly large fractions of the corporate pie. All sorts of advances come from government sponsored research especially since corporations don't do basic research. I do agree we are draining away the life blood of manufacturing and am no longer a NAFTA/Free trade supporter given all the problems with low quality/safety foreign products.
