"Distribution" implies a distributor. Apparently, we have arrived at a point where, as with the goal of "Newspeak," it's no longer possible to even think outside the realm of authoritarianism. The only arguments are about who our rulers are going to be.
The second somebody starts talking in terms of "this is how much 'society' will allow you to earn, keep, or own, this is how much freedom 'society' will permit you," we're already pinned to that paradigm.
An economy run at gunpoint will not run long. A majority will always vote to loot the minority. They always have.
